Flight Test Engineer

Job Description:

Execute flight tests of new aerodynamic systems on large transport category aircraft.  Design, construct, install, calibrate, operate, and maintain digital, analog, and optical instrumentations systems.  Develop and execute flight tests, capture data, reduce data, and write test reports.

Required Qualifications:

BS in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, significant experience may be substituted for degree requirement.  Proficient with CAD and data analysis tools (AutoCAD, Excel, MatLab, etc.) Experience fabricating unique components from a variety of materials.  Physically able to work on and around aircraft (climb ladders, work from lift platforms, fly as crew member)

Desired Qualifications:

Licensed pilot or licensed A&P.  Military or civil flight test experience.
