On September 23rd 2015, Edge Aerodynamix was recognized for its innovation at the Bay County Chamber of Commerce Industry Appreciation Award Ceremony. In the picture, Peter Ireland, CEO of Edge Aerodynamix, can be seen receiving the award from Florida Governor Rick Scott and other local government officials.
Edge is constantly looking for ways to be more innovative with its product line. The company is still in its developmental stage and is hopeful that its commitment to innovation will pave the way for its success in the near future.
Peter Ireland mentioned in his speech that the company is pleased to be based in a location that offers as much as Panama City does. Edge Aerodynamix has been in Bay County since 2012 with offices in Panama City Beach on Front Beach Road. Edge also has two hangars and a Boeing 737 at Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport. Panama City is an ideal location for aerospace companies because its modern airport and vast airspace offer unlimited potential for growth and development. Another appeal the area provides is its talented pool of workers. Panama City is home to many retired and non-retired, experienced aerospace professionals.
Edge has been a member of the Bay County Chamber of Commerce since 2014. The company has enjoyed being involved in the community and has recently taken part in several local events. Edge Aerodynamix is continuously growing and expects to bring many new jobs to Panama City in the near future.
